Take a look at this picture. What's wrong with it?

The poor girl has no nipples! How terrible! Her children will be denied the nourishing value of breast milk.

That's not it though. Some record executive decided that nipples do not contribute to her wholesome image and they airbrushed them out.

I remember a story about how in the 80's (and maybe still today in some parts of the country), mannequins imported from France had their nipples shaved off because they were deemed obscene.

I think Jessica needs to drop the good girl charade and run her own career. It would do her some good. Or maybe it's just that I'd rather see her in skimpier outfits...

Hmm... I noticed the lack of nipples before I even got to your post. ;)

Anyways, I never found Jessica Simpson that attractive, and her music is undeniably bad with no salvagable value.

I'd much rather listen to and watch Britney. At least her music is sorta catchy, not to mention the fact that she's much hotter. That's the kind of good product you get when your music is written by Swedes.

Yeah, Britney's still my pop strumpet of choice for both listening and watching :)

Jessica only looks good to me sometimes. Her new song "Irrestible" is the only halfway decent song she's got and she's moving towards a sexier image in the video too. That being said, watching her fall into decadence would still be entertaining.

FYI, her face is also heavily airbrushed/made up in this picture. She doesn't look like that most of the time.

I don't care what recording artist it is, nipples should not be airbrushed out! Well, nix that, any male artist who has lady nipples you can see through a shirt should have them airburshed out... but that's it!

I would say the fact that nipples are being airbrushed. It's not exactly unusual to notice the lack of a feature common to humans, but to try and hide a non-blemish is certainly odd.
