It was this weird show late nights on MTV's by Peter Chung I think. It was somewhat ludicrous with warring factions, futuristic 1984'ish visions, weird virus microbes, and of course Aeon. Aeon was this acrobatic chick with black hair with a perfect curl at the end with a penchant for making out with the enemy and wearing skimpy outfits.
It was fucking odd, yet strangely entertaining.

I thought it was a great show. I was happy to see someone over at MTV would allow something that was as relatively original as AEon Flux on the air. I loved the fact that they never gave too much of the story away. I think that is one thing in story telling that writers should always be aware of. Too much exposition tends to drown the readers imagination.
On a more intresting note I think that AEon's ass didn't match her chest.
Oh and I will forever miss The State. Some of the best comedy I ever saw. They even beat the Kids in the Hall.

Aeon Flux was fucking awsome. The anoerexic bitch always seemed to end up dying... we don't have full MTV in Australia (unless u can be fucked paying out money for cable). So, starred on a thing called liquid television... which if i remember correctly is sponsered or made by MTV or something anyway.
btw, i know this is so unrelated, but anyone who hasn't been here:

I'm Canadian, eh!?
I really must say that I don't at all miss not having MTV around to raise my sorry ass. This has to be one of the only shows that I have ever heard anyone admit to liking. I'm not much for music videos in general anyway. Bleh.

I agree Mtv does and did suck. Although I do look at not having The State anymore as a bit of a tragedy. It seems CBS picked up the show and then did nothing with it. Sad. their last gig was doing The States 52 annual Halloween Special or something.

Flux is still around in print. I've seen it at Borders and in comics stores, if you're hunting.

Hey, you're right! It was too bony compared to her boobs. If I remember correctly, her boobs also didn't bounce very much. She must have had implants :)
