Great stuff in the past. Did you hear Ozzie's new song though? Terrible.

Ozzie didn't do much of worth after Sabbath. Listening to Black Sabbath will make you a better person.

the best thing about BS is that they influenced The Cardigans. for that, they should be canonized.

Exactly. I remember very clearly seeing a live performance of the cardigans on TV several years ago where the guitarist was wearing a shirt that said "listen to black sabbath" on it. Then you hear their cover of "iron man" and it all falls into place.

In fact, it goes a lot deeper than Iron Man and Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath. They're very open about their influences, and they say that there are really only two major ones, BS and Nick Drake.

If you know both bands, you know that those are two polar ends of the musical spectrum. Their music is kind of a mix of both, played by the brady Bunch =)

I liked Perry Mason a lot from the post-Sabbath years. Who would have a song about Perry Mason would be good?

Right on. In addition to their storied influences, the cardigans singer was seriously hot.

That is what her mother told me last night! Ah wait a minute that didn't come out quite right and I am sure that it would take some fake time travel story to rectify the tale.

Fuck it. I would bang her.
