After seeing Kevin's avatar choice, just how short is MC Hammer? Is this just a so-so crop, or is the guy like a midget or something?

As I told Morgan earlier over ICQ, MC Hammer was the first concert I ever went to (summer between 7th and 8th grade). The only thing I remember from that concert was that 2 "bouncers" carried him through the crowd on a piece of plywood and the idiot could actually stand on it without straining the two guys. I was probably 5' 4" then and he couldn't have been more than 5' 7".

Please Hammer don't hurt 'em.

I actually spent over 20 min. trying to find a site to link that had his height on it. Seems he's trying to keep it a secret. However, many people on IRC gave me an insight. He is close to, but no taller than 5' 6".

Guess I wasn't the only one wasting time, eh Big Guy? :D

that doesn't sound right to me. I'm 6', and he's shorter than I, but not that much shorter. I've run into him twice, and unless he was wearing some serious heels that I couldn't see, I'd say he was fairly average height, maybe 5'8 or 5'9.
