What do you mean? I checked the front page of the site and saw that message, does that mean he shut it down? If so, that sucks. I was getting some really good shit off there. I see how it says "Not my choice." on the top of the window when I opened the page, so maybe the RIAA did get him.

I hate that song, I cannot stand their damn voices. It's like, "Look at me, my testicles haven't dropped yet."
I hear that song about 2 or 3 times a month at work seen as how the jackass in charge of the radio they play at work never puts anything different on. It's always the same 3 or 4 stations and then, the stupid satellite service they use only has a couple dozen songs they play over and over and over.
It's like being stuck in Hell for music snobs. :rant:

hey heres a question--on the new version of limewire--when u try to download songs it does a search and tells you you dont have a license for the songs--

will that get you reamed by the RIAA? i havent downloaded nuthin in weeks.

yea i heard bout that sounds a bit dodge. id just ignore and download another file. Its also a good idea to have all your downloaded music in a different folder to your shared folder. keep your shared folder real small. You proberly already know this though :doh:

:fuck: More music added...I'm doing this different. For those interested, there are attached files with all of my music. One lists all of the albums, the other lists all of my electronic tracks (house, trance, etc). There are some albums that have been added to my itunes from CDs, those most likely will not have the entire album, just the tracks I preferred to have. I currently have around 4000 songs on my iTunes.

I'm probably going to start chopping some of this down soon, in fact I already have. So if there is something that you really want, let me know, because I can't guarantee that it will be there long. Most of it will stay though.

Here is a quick tutorial on how to download files from Rapidshare simultaneously using Firefox. It is a simple operation; one must use a different proxy per download. Although it seems impossible to do on Internet Explorer, it is extremely simple with Firefox. Although this tip works, the downloads do slow down significantly when one downloads more than two files. Here are the quick steps:

Using the FireFox browser, download and install the SwitchProxy plug-in for FireFox.

Proceed to finding a free proxy server, I recommend the Steganos Proxies list.

Proceed to Rapidshare's download link and start the download. Do not use a download manager (No FlashGet), simply use FireFox's download manager by itself. (This is because Flashget uses your real IP, not the one loaded by the SwitchProxy plug-in)

Load the SwitchProxy plug-in and use one of the proxies. This does not interfere with your current download.

Proceed to a second Rapidshare download link. In most cases, it should begin a second download. However, if it reads an error (already downloading), then the selected proxy is still submitting your real IP to RapidShare. This may not be your fault, as some free proxies use your real IP.

If you get this error, simply try the next available proxy in the list.

To begin another download, repeats the steps using a new proxy in the list. This can be done an unlimited amount of times (or until you run out of working proxies).
