"Got his foot in the door" with TrancePort?

I'd have said that Oakenfold was one of the DJs who started the trance movement, not one who 'got his foot in the door' with an album.

Oakie is bloody excellent, but i think the trance backlash is going to take him down a few places with the more underground music people. Although with any luck the people who are now listening to ATB will at least move to Oakenfold.

When I say "got his foot in the door", I was referring to America. Who had heard of him before that album? He was anything but a household name, and with that release he finally gained some recognition on this side of the pond.

True, true...I've never heard any of his CD work and I know of Oakie, but i'm probably the exception.
