Sad. The world needs more hot ladies, not fewer.

What I don't understand is why they don't talk about the other people that were killed on the plane. Just because they weren't celebrities doesn't mean they shouldn't be mentioned.

Aaliyah isn't more important than any other human on the earth, but people tend to care more if someone who they "know" dies. Thats the way the turkey crumbles.

Luckily for me i'll never have this problem as my fear of flying prohibits me from going near a airport if i'm not passed out or dead or drunk.

It's really sad and unfortunate she died.

Shit happens.

Still it is sad. Almost as sad we will now have to put up the TV specials, memorial posters, new vidoes with her "in them" (a la Marvin Gaye), we will have to hear how she was the brightest star or a sun that set too soon, we will have to put up with the t-shirts, crying-fan news biopics and worst of all the MTV specials. Then there are the "new hits" that we will not be able to escape. They will follow us everywhere we go. I am sure one of her producers will make a killing now that she is dead. Sad huh. Too bad famous people cannot die like everyone else.

The reason why the other victims are not mentioned by name and more attention is placed onto Aaliyah is because she lived a life that a wide-variety audience seemed to envy and enjoy.

The airplane company is saying that they put too much baggage on the flight and that the pilot complained, but the passengers insisted that they needed everything. I wonder if it's true or not.

"with the pilot dead, we thought it was a bad idea to take off with the flight attendant's monkey flying the plane, which was leaking fuel and missing a wing, but the passengers wanted to go, so we did."

They were mentioned, just not by name. That's the difference between being famous and not...
